County: Alum Creek Lake is in Delaware County about 7 miles north of Columbus. The lake is paralleled by I-71 on the east, with the SR 36/37 exit providing access. State Routes 521, 36/37, Cheshire Road, Hollenback Road, and Lewis Center Road provide access from SR 23 on the west side of the lake
Size: 3,387 acres
Species of Fish: Muskie, saugeye, crappie,largemouth, smallmouth, white bass. sunfish and catfish

WEB Site: State Park

 

Description: Alum Creek is one of the largest lake in the state and was completed in 1974. The State park has a campground, four boat ramps, docks a marina, mnay picnic area and parking ares.
